Four of the best offensive minds come together to teach all phases of hitting. This clinic will consist of classroom training where is speakers will give you in-depth knowledge to improve your player's hitting performance. The clinic will then move to the indoor facility where the experts and attending coaches will implement their training with players from 10-18 years old. All instructors will work in unison during the on-field instruction to ensure coaches leave able to teach "THE" swing. You will no doubt understand the science of hitting after this coach's clinic.​

Instructors: Don Slaught (16 yr MLB player and president of RVP), Howard Carrier (Crystl Bustos hitting coach), Marc Dagenais (softballperformance.com founder) and Dave Paetkau (Powerzone Academy founder)​

Cost: $60 per player, $50 multi-player (first player from org pays $60 each additional pays $50 each) or $50 per player with attending coach. Spaces are limited and will only be reserved by receipt of payment. Ask about the group and individual lesson packages available this weekend.

We would like to reward coaches and players attending the defensive clinic with a discount for this clinic.

Discount is available if you register by November 20th and attend the defensive or catchers clinic.

Coach's

Discount with Defensive clinic is $80 first coach and $65 each additional coach



Player's

Openings for the coach's and player's clinics are filling up fast. We are going to take a limited amount of both. We learned from the Defensive clinic that sharing the experience with many can decrease the value for all. Both the player and coach registration is listed below.

We have posted lessons in the other thread due to the amount of information we need to supply on both. Regisatrations for the MASH clinic are starting to pick up. We appreciate all the interest! We will limit this clinic to about half the size of the defensive clinic to allow instructors more personal time with the players and coaches.

Don may like that, but not sure about the other two. ! Have not seen Dave since he told me to move Swifty to the left side. She was told in a college hitting clinic last weekend. She is small but mighty by the head coach. That made her day. .

LOL ... I started my youngest DD started working out on the SoloFlex last night - pull downs, leg curls, leg extensions, etc .. before we started I explained that our goal is to provide tone and strength for her over the winter - esp in her legs.

She looked at me and said, 'Am I gonna get ripped Dad?' .. then she started laughing ... small but mighty!

Deep Practice is the matrix drill and this book just came out in 2009!

Make sure your girls use the PEP program from Santa Monica Sports Med.

I am sure Marc knows about it, so ask him as the hamstrings are so under developed in the females and way too much emphasis is put on the quads which is why they have so many ACL issues in my opinion.

Next time you are down I will give you a roll of paper towels and some Windex to keep the mirrors clean. :lmao:

I hope to see some of the RR kids and coaches here. I picked on up for the adidas team that has been attending you and Crystl's workouts with them.

The Talent Code is amazing and I read it cover to cover in four days. That is pretty impressive for me as I do not read much. I am doing a report and reading many sections of it again now. I am trying to find the best ways to use this for my kids. Thanks for the suggestion! It was funny reading it and seeing things in there that you have been doing for long before the book came out like chunking.
