Ice Black..... Is this a new Ice Team? I saw a girl last night at the Spano Dome with Black and Purple Sweats and Hoodie with Ice Black on them. Anyone know anything about this team? ???

They are some of the White Ice and Stingrays from last years Jackson Sliders.

wolfpack - you are confusing me. Is this the Ice Stingrays combination? Where did the Jackson Sliders come in to it?

Last Spring (2005), a combination of girls from the White Ice, Stingrays, & Lasers formed a team called the Jackson Sliders. They only played together through May 2005 (while waiting for their respective teams' 9th graders to become eligible to play their regular season schedules).
So, in fact, this Ice Black team is considered to be a combination of Ice White/Stingrays and whoever else they may have picked up this fall. It is also accurate to say that the Ice Black is mostly made up of the girls that played on the Jackson Sliders team of 2005.
I hope this clears up this issue for you.

I have been out of the loop. I thought it was just the Stingrays players that left and joined the Ice players.

OhioRays, The Jackson Sliders was a team put together for the 8th grade members of ICE White and Stingray Gillian and I think a couple of Laser Blue players so they could do tourneys while their respective older team mates played High School Ball. After High School season they all returned to their summer team and "Sliders" were no more......At the end of the summer season Ice White disbanded after 4 very successful years. The younger players from ICE White and Stingrays then decide to merge again into ICE Black making a 15u Ice team. (4 of the Older ICE White girls are now on ICE Blue -Riccardi, an look to have the makings of an awesome 16u team, the combined pitching alone will help them to be very successful, let alone the awesome bats of #15 and #6)
