Kayla Seigla (SO) set a new state HR record on 4/18. Kayla went 4-4 from the plate with 8 RBIs. All (4) hits were homeruns. Previous record was (3) shared by about (19) individuals. State Records : Softball

Kayla plays HS ball for Eastern Brown and TB for Cincy Doom 96.

Abbey Yaugher of Parma Holy Name and Madness also hit 4 HRs in one game a couple weeks ago.

Looks like there will be 2 at the top of the leader board. Congrats to both. I certainly do not want to take anything away from these great accomplishments !

But as a coach or pitcher, what would be your thought in continuing to pitch to these girls after the 2nd HR in a game ? Don't know about Abbey, but Kayla recorded 3 off the same pitcher (who also gave up a 4th to one of her teamates) and her 4th came off the reliever.

Again, not trying to hijack the thread or take anything away, just curious on the thought process.

Agreed completely! If only my Zips would learn...I'll be a rockets fan next season because one of our Lady Leps will be playing for Toledo as well.

Abbey Yaugher is also a Sophmore and I believe she had 9 RBI in the game with all 4 home runs clearing the fence. An amazing accomplishment for both young women!
