The Ohio Lasers Gray team had a Very successful weekend in Ft Wayne this weekend earning there NSA berth at the Dual in the Dome. It came on the back of there two Ace pitchers going undefeated on the weekend. Their bats exploded with 6 home-runs, traveling at least 220 feet to the fence, from three different players, and a defense that was flawless. Compition was impecable with teams representing Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. The Crete Crush from Illinois gave the Lasers a tough game in bracket play and faced off again in the championship game only to get run ruled from an offense that would not slow down. Congrats to the Lasers Gray team for working hard and achieving there goals.

not split....more like replaced

Can someone clarify "replaced" - From what I understand, the Red is still very much together and still one of the premier 12U teams in Ohio (even though, by the looks of their schedule, they are sponsored by Southwest Airlines). Is this a case of big sister/little sister rivalry or did we have a "split" with an organizational name agreement.

Congrats. Saw a couple of these Gray girls at Notre Dame Camp yesterday and there is no doubt they held their own with some vary good HS Prospects. It was fun to watch them.

To my knowledge, Ohio Lasers Gray and Lady Lasers Red 98 are both going strong.

Yep, Red was just down playing in the PA Gold tourney in WV this past weekend. And Gray, as evidenced by this thread, is alive and kicking as well.
