Today's the day that some teams will get eliminated. What teams are suprised to be going home already? Was it a bad pool draw... or was the competiton much better than expected. Also what teams/states were you not impressed by?

i am impressed by every player/team/state that is playing in the NSA. they are doing there best and out there fighting to win. yes there may be some dominating teams but don't think these girls are not out there giving their all.

Competition is tough. Won 2 in pool play, lost two tough close games in bracket play - could have won both games just as easy. Margin of error is pretty small, a play here or there, or a timely hit. Outhit at least one team, but didn't bunch them.
Just watched the Indy Diamond Chix pack up too. Didn't expect that.
As an all 11 u team pointing to next year, we wanted the challenge (and got it). This was still an excellent opportunity to grow and learn. Hat's off to the fine talent assembled here.

A very competitive field makes for upsets, surprises, and fun. I'd say that the Lasers Silver will have their day again, when they are at the "older end" of 12u

Streak & oldetimer: The Laser Silver team was often overlooked in many threads that should have included them, thanks for acknowledging these girls. They've worked hard this entire year, & all of us parents think they held their own quite admirably against their older competition. We still need to get through Eastern Natl's in Sterling, VA, then we can start planning for next season. Stay tuned!! ;D
