Ohio NSA Cap City Class C - Rec/All-Star Championships - July 18-19, 2015.
John Bishop Park & Whitehall Community Park - Whitehall 43213.
**NO FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES**
Note that there are no parking or gate fees charged. This is also an Ohio NSA Scholarship weekend. One player will be randomly selected to receive a $250 college scholarship. The funds will be sent to the NSA National Office to be held and the player does not have to play softball in college to receive the funds. Click here for details on the Ohio NSA scholarship program.
NSA - 2015 event open to 10u, 12u, 14u/16u teams. 3 game format - preferred format is 2 pool games into a single-elimination bracket, weather permitting.
We play straight NSA rules except for a couple of rules modifications:
1. This event only the 14u/16u pitch from 40 feet.
2. We allow the option to use a 10th fielder.
Entry fee is $300. This fee includes 2015 NSA sanction fee and NSA weekend (Friday July 17 thru Sunday July 19, 2015) insurance policy. No need for extra costs or a yearlong insurance policy just to participate. Teams that have already sanctioned or purchased insurance can send proof of NSA sanction and/or team insurance can deduct $35 from the entry fee. Teams will still need to submit their registration online even though it is included in the entry fee. Please click here: NSA Team Sanction Page.
