Ohio Sapphires 15u (NE OH) Looking for 1-more Player
The Ohio Sapphires 15u based in the Akron area is currently looking to add 1-more player who can play SS/2b at a high level. We already have a solid core group of players that will be exciting to watch in their first year of 16u. We're coming off of a successful season last year at 14u, placing top 6 at the Gapps College Showcase and a 2nd place finish playing up an age group at a 16u tournament. We expect even better things this upcoming season when we move up to 16u. We intend to play a mostly showcase schedule(i.e Dayton Metro, Madness Showcase, Gapps, ASA States, etc..) and are looking at playing up at an 18u tournament. In addition, we be playing in a indoor winter HS league at the Spano Dome beginning in November. We will also be conducting weekly hitting and fielding practices throughout the winter.
