The indoor scrimmages are back.

2nd Set
10U - December 12th
14U - December 13th
12U - December 19th

• Each team will play three games
• Each team will also have use of the batting cage and hitting stations.
• Cost will be only $85 per team. That's less than $8 per player!!!!

We have plenty of seating and a concession area for snacks and drinks.
These were popular last year because they are very cost effective and offer a stress-free atmosphere where you can teach while you play. You can not beat that value for a days worth of practice and cage use.
6 teams per age group MAX!!!!

Got all of you guys/gals down.

Pride1, I put you down for both dates because you didn't state what date(s) you were interested in. Let me know what you want and I'll update the list.

Also, I had some interest in 14U scrimmages. I'll throw it out and see what sort of response we get. We'll do the 14s on the Sunday following the 10s. 14U is little harder to do because of basketball on Saturdays (12U is an issue sometimes also but it seems to be a bigger problem with 14U).

We play 6 on 6 (7 on 7 for 10U). These scrimmages are mainly for teams to get some good pitching/catching work in and for the girls to hit live pitching. Plus you get cage time, etc. Really, the only place your going to get any legit outfield play is the Dome in Ft. Wayne. Every other place, your hitting off walls or nets somewhere.

Indianapolis Sportszone is the nicest indoor facility I have been to. Nine on nine, full field with 18o to 200 ft. fence, 10 batting cages, 4-6 pitching warm-up lanes and two warm-up areas for teams. This is an awesome complex. Also, Sinclair Community College is nine on nine as well and very nice.

Paul, the Sportzone is nice but there is no comparison to the Dome in Ft. Wayne. They are able to play a full game with a regular softball and full outfield play. Its possible to hit the roof of the dome but pretty rare. At sportzone we have had many bombs that turned into outs. Not complaining because it was still great to play there, but the Dome is the only place that I have seen so far where true softball can be played indoors.

Like I said I agree with you about Sportszone, it's way better then most. The surface is also very playable.

But, when it comes to being able to play straight up regular softball indoors nothing tps the Dome there in Ft. Wayne. For sure nothing around this part of the country compares. It does get a little cold in there at times but at least you can breath and the lighting is great. Being able to play with a real ball is a huge plus too.

I know that we plan on playing up there this winter.
