What is your feeling on this?
A coach from another organization approached my husband and another parent at the Sundogs tryouts this weekend. They had brought several of their girls from their organization to the tryout and were asking us to come to their tryout. My husband just walked away. I wish they wouldn't bring girls to tryouts and waste every one's time. Give the girls that truly want to be there more time to be seen.
i did this the other weekend. they posted open practices or workouts and not tryout dates on the website. they knew me right of way when i walked up and sat in the bleachers, i wasnt wearing any of my assn game gear, just plain clothes. Us coaches shot breeze and complimented each other programs. I had no intentions of my daughter trying out for the team, but it was nice to see her perform with other peers her age (9/10) besides our team. Plus moving up from 8u to 10u to see the difference was worth it. If someone recruits at your tryouts or practices at your park, yeah, I would say thats a dbag move on the coach.
