I'll need some help with addts' to my list but I'd guess this was the best Ohio finish overall the state has had ?

again please add to my list as it will be incomplete :

18u : 7 ohio girls help the steelers , I mean bandits, finish 3rd at Premiere , SGS Magic finish 2nd at NSA

16U : ASA/USA Scarlett finishes top 5 Tidalwaves top 20 ...Buckeye Heat win Eastern regionals

14u Gold wins it all at ASA Doom 96 and Riptides finish Top 25 . Wolfpack 2nd at eastern natl's -- CO Heat top 5 . CO Vipers 7th at NSA

12U Cincy Static wins Eastern regionals . Red misses top 10 by 1 win at ASA/USA . Classics 2nd at NSA

10u Thunder Elite wins Eastern regionals

Please add your teams finish to see just how well ohio did overall. Were there any previous years that were better than this ? MD

Sure seems like this was the best year. It was just a matter of time.

Best year I can recall by far and I go back to about 1999 or so.

Per cgs, the team they beat in the 16-U Eastern Finals was Ohio Ice-Silver ... once more have posted, someone should re-summarize the list ...

I know that many of us on here compare Ohio teams to West Coast teams. How do teams from other states (generally speaking) compare to teams from Ohio? It seems, that for some time, the states with dominant teams have either been from the Mid-West or the West Coast. Thoughts?

I will say that the Jaguars were very strong in their 3r place victory. IMO, tougher team than the team we knocked off.

LSHIDMS,T,FD,&DMWT I have no clue what that means .

I was waiting.

Laughing So Hard I Dropped My Sombrero, Tripped, Fell Down, & Dropped My Walking Taco. It used to begin with, "Laughing So Hard I Tripped," but I didn't like what that one spelled.

MD, just a little correction on your notes, the Bandits 3rd Place finish was at Premiere.

It was pretty cool how they Televised the Championship PREMIERE game nationally and then showed the Bandits girls in the 3rd inning complimenting them on their 3rd place achievement.

And don't forget that, according to a comical thread on heybucket, the game ball from the 12U ASA/USA championship game is heading to Ohio. :)
