With (1) the explosion of softball in Ohio (for the naysayers who think the sport is watered down); (2) more and more organizations pulling out "all the stops" to attract the best athletes to their organization (advertising that XYZ coach runs their hitting, pitching, defense, clinics AND having access to XYZ training facility for year round practice); AND (3) more and more parents willing to invest in hitting lessons, agility lessons etc., OHIO teams will continue to improve every year at Nationals- looking forward to it and just saying :D

didn't mean to insult the Bandits with my little "steelers" poke. The Bandits do not steal Ohio players. It takes two sides to make it work and no one is holding any gun to ohio families making them go there. how bout " Beverly-Buckeye Bandits" ?

very true... it's a culture shift in Ohio and probably in other states as well. And the use of indoor facilities and year round mentalities are helping quite a bit too. I'd also say that the teams are working closer together as a unit as opposed to enemies. I know that has helped us a lot.
