UPDATE: All GAMES are on for the 1:00pm start


---- 8:00 am games will start at 1:00 pm ,9:30 games start at 2:00pm, 11:00am games to 3:00pm 12:30games to 4:00pm etc. And all games upto the semi-finals will go to a 1 hour drop dead format.. If games can not be started by 1:00pm then we will have to cancel the rest of the tournament. UPDATE WILL BE AROUND 11:30 OR 12:00



Parma Wildcats are proud to announce the date of our 4th annual A.S.A. ENQ Spring Shootout Tournament as Memorial Day Weekend May 27th - 29th 2011. Entry Fee will be $425.00 and a 4 game Guarantee. Discount of $25.00 for other teams in same org that pay at the same time. Please go to our web site www.parmawildcats.com to register your team. Last year we hosted 76 teams, this year we will host the same. Some local teams ie. with in an hours drive per head coaches address, may play on friday. As Friday is available for us to use to play some games. And as always there will be no gate fees or parking fees to attend or to watch our tournament.

Friday Games will be played at 6:00pm, 7:30pm and 9:00pm

This year will include;

1.) A children's inflatable play area ie. Bounce City,
2.) A competitive Hitting Competition that will include great prizes to the top 2 finishers in each age division.
3.) We are going to have Hollywood bases on all fields again this year.
4.) We will have Homerun fences set up at 200 ft on all fields again as well. 10u Fence is 175ft
5.) No games Played on the Baseball field, with the mound, it will be used for the Hitting Competition.
6.) There will be a time limit of 75 minutes, with finish the inning or top half of inning if home team is winning.
7.) There will be NO time limit for semi finals and championship games only, play 7 innings.
8.) All games will have 2 umpires, except semi finals and finals will once again have 3 umpires
9.) Tournament winners and runnersup will recieve special tournament shirts for awards.
10.) Coaches will recieve special tournament shirts as well, instead of team trophies.
11.) Joined the Circuit of Champions

And as always any teams 16u or 18u or even 14u if the players are playing Varsity, that are still in the High School Playoffs and can not field a team will be released without penalty one week prior to ourtournament. Just let me know by Monday 5/23/10 if your team must pull out because of playoffs and only because of playoffs.

Todd and his crew do a great job and continue to improve this tournament year after year. Many of our teams like this tourney to kick-off their season.

Yes Blesh, Thank you very much. I forgot that, I was up at 4:00am doing all this work. I guess I was Tired.

First team pays full price, everyother team on the same check is discount $25.00 each.

I think it could be a headache for you as a TD, but I think for the rest of the teams it is a huge bonus. Like I said, great idea.

yes it is, last year i only had 2 teams bow out because of this, and was able to find quick replacements... but at younger age groups 5 or 6 teams dropped out and that was really , really tough.

The hitting competition will be 12 balls pitched from a pitching machine, only the best 10 will be counted. There will be a point system for every hit that is fair, and where it lands or rolls to. There will be 3 diferent distances marked in the field of play.

Last year we gave away a DeMarini CF4 bats to the winners in each age group ($300), And brand new gloves for 2nd place ($185), and a 3rd place prize of bat bags and batting gloves ($120). These prizes were given for each age group , 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, and 18u
