We played in this tourney for the first time last year and it was very well run, nice fields and decent umpires. I highly recommend giving it a look.

And as always any teams 16u or 18u or even 14u if the players are playing Varsity, that are still in the High School Playoffs and can not field a team will be released without penalty one week prior to our tournament. Just let me know by Monday 5/24/10 if your team must pull out because of playoffs and only because of playoffs.

Hi, My name is Jim Rybak I was the coach of the 14U Explosion last year. We were the runners up at 14 U. This goes out to the TD. Very well ran tournament and would return to next year. One thing I would like you to think about is purchasing temporary fencing for some of your big fields. We had a couple of girls that hit some great shots and they turned into doubles or triples, even some fly outs that would have been homers.

i have been looking into this, but the cost to put fencing on the fields would cost alot of money. So much so that it would add about $100.00 to the teams cost to join. I think that is just to much to ask. but we still have not ruled out fencing for fields, we have to find some one willing to do this for less cost to rent them.

Thanks, Todd

Todd,

Have you looked at Sponsors buying a portion of fence? Sell the advertisement space on one section for what it costs for two or three sections. No easy task in today's economy, but it could prove easier than I think.
