Should be some great games at this one,suprised at low number of teams,I know who Im picking,anyone have any thought's on anyone but Thunder?lol;& Kind quiet out there,Ok ill take a shot at it Thunder loses to Lasers, or Ice black in final.

Thunder 00 will be the best team @ 12u because of there big #1 pitcher

Lasers is a great team and has beat Thunder 00 a few times but has also lost to some average teams and dont seem to have a big dominating pitcher ....

Ice black is allso a strong team that allmost beat Thunder 00 but lacks a big stud pitcher .....

Remove Thunders 00 horse in the circle and 2013 polls @ 12u would get real interesting !!!!!

Trainwrecker let me quess you have a daughter on thunder 00. Lol messing with ya...I think both teams you mentioned have good pitching. I wouldn't look at either and say they are lacking at pitching. Maybe I'm wrong but 10u I felt speed was everything you could win with a dominating pitcher alone, but now at 12s it takes more then that. All I can say is its fun to watch all of them play!!!

Ren, agree with most of what youv'e said,but think the exceptional hitters will take advantage of the #1 by taking her deep in the count ,and put pressure on her to throw close to the plate,and those hitters will give it a ride.As far as having a strong pitching staff,you need a hard thrower w/ an exceptional change up ,and a pitcher that can work the corners and change velocity with her pitches,keeping hitters out of sync a must at this level.Know some of the top three have that pitching resume,some don't.

I know it's easy to single out a player who people believe is responsible for the success of a team, but we all know you can't play with only 1 or 2 players. It's take 9 girls between the white lines and our case 11 committed players to achieve the success we have had up to this point.

Very true Jeff, Guess we will see which 9 or 11 will keep there focus and get the job done on Sunday,As far as players being commited to a team or coaches being commited to players,seen the best and worst of both.Looking forward to this weekend's scores and results,good luck to all teams.

Last time I checked Thunder put up no less than 8 runs a game at a tournament that was stacked with at least 6 of the top 10 teams in the polls on Mothers day weekend while breezing to the title, making it look easy. Having a stud pitcher like they do only makes this great team that much better. I say Thunder over Ice in a great game. Good luck to all.
