ASA/USA Gold 18U televised 4 games online every day of the tournament, the game changer was nice at PGF , but what I noticed as a draw back, VERY FEW coaches watched the 18 u games and there was ALOT of uncommitted kids on all the rosters and a lot of 2014's playing up.... just saying, take the good with the bad....

Beginning this year and continuing into the future, PGF is adding a second division for 18 and under teams. We are excited to offer a level of play for those developing teams and teams that are geographically challenged to take advantage of the beautiful weather and facilities in Southern California.

Teams that compete in this division will have the opportunity to play good competition at a level where they can legitimately contend for a National Championship on the same facilities at the same time as the Premier Division.

These teams will participate in the outstanding opening ceremonies, they will receive the same gifts and most importantly, they will compete in front of the same hundreds of college coaches.

Was very unimpressed with the PGF umps in Indiana. The last game we did have a father/son crew that was top notch. That being said it's great to see these Lasers and PGF teaming up!

So, with Lasers going PGF, will the wrath of the ASA turn on them??

Is this an open registration tournament? or is it still "by invitation only?"

Sounds like some confusion out there. PGF Director can you confirm?

My understanding is that the PGF is a seperate tourney from the Lasers Invatational?
Played at Different locations just on the same weekend.

Would be nice to hear directly from the Lasers organization on what the status is of everything

Agree would be nice to hear ... my assumption is that they are still trying to figure it out ... too good of an opportunity to pass up hosting it, but this will bring in more teams on a limited number of fields, and some teams will need to decide whether playing PGF or not. My other assumption is that they will either have to take less teams for Lasers or promise less games ... but, definitely would be nice to hear from them ... anything really ...
