Kat that is about the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I would give him or her there release as I was walking out the door looking for another coach.

Why is it that we "don't get it"?
We do "get it", we simply disagree with it. Just because someone disagrees with your viewpoint doesn't mean they don't understand.

This is it. What you dont get is that it is this coaches way of training there is nothing wrong with it as some of the posters here have implied.

It is as if the girls are being punished. There is nothing wrong with shutting a pitcher down to correct bad habits. She has 3 of the top if not the best pitchers in NWO/maybe the state. I guess going back to the basic does not amout to anything.

You have a right to your opinion i agree, however these girls choose to go to this coach for a reason. Their are 3-4 other coaches in NWO they can go to if they would like to pitch in fall ball.

If what your saying is true that Schultz, Holmes and Gill are going to her you cant argue with her success. However they are not the top three pitchers in the state. We dont have a consistant Shut down pitcher in NWO at this time. No Weimer (Gillis), Mattin or Wonderly (Nicole Long) are pitching in NWO. This is not intended to critize Schultz, Holmes or Gill they are very good pitchers. But Weimer and Wonderly are pitching D1 and Mattin is pitching D3 college softball.

I will say this, if what you are doing you believe in, there is no need to justify it to a bunch of people on a board. People can agree with it or disagree with it, but in the end your going to do what you think is right for your DD and thats what makes you a good parent.

I don't habe a problem with the coach recommending no fall ball but there should not be an ultimatum.

I intend no disrespect for those pitchers. They are all good pitchers. Maybe I should qualify it in saying top "sophmores or 15yr olds" in the state. ?All of the following you mentioned are seniors. On an given day those pitchers could beat anyone in the state. However I never said they were the best just "one" of the best. All of the following pitchers you mentioned would fall in the catagory also. IMO

I was not arguing so much for the coach as I was the way the training/philosophy is implemented.
