Introducing a new web service for youth sports enthusiasts in Ohio: YouthSportsScores.com

YouthSportsScores.com is an online scoreboard that lists ALL youth softball scores in Ohio.

Features of YouthSportsScores include:

* Automated web-site. Scores are listed the instant they're posted. No more waiting for a web-master to process input and upload the page.

* Anybody can post scores to the database! Spectators, players, YOU! No more waiting for the coach to call in the score. Posting scores to games is easy and updating a posted score is easy too!

* Games may be posted ahead of time as "scheduled", and then updated when the game is played. Feel free to enter your favorite team's entire schedule.

* All games played on a given day are listed on the same page, in an easy-to-read format.

* Games are sorted by conference, tournament, or region, making games easy to find. Or base your search on a specific team and only games played by that team will be listed.

* This service is available to ALL levels of youth softball, not just high school varsity. Junior varsity and freshman games can also be entered and sorted separately.

* This service is available to travel softball teams as well, covering 18U, 16U, 14U, 12U, and 10U. Or, use it for your little league and/or rec leagues.

* This service is available to other youth sports besides softball. Try it out with baseball, football, basketball, hockey, and soccer too!

* Do you have an internet-ready handheld device you take with you to games? This service let's you switch the display to a special handheld format for score posting and searching while still at the field!

* Oh, and it's FREE!!

Please, give this new service a try. We think you'll like it.

Spent 10 minutes trying to get signed up, let me save you some time

1) security code is case sensitive, capital letters must be capitals
2) it does not tell you, but you will get an activation code by email thatyou must then use to activate your account ...

hope this helps save the rest some time

Thanks for the input sballfan.

The screen after you create your account indeed does instruct you to activate your account from the code sent to your email. But, I just changed that to a red, bold font so that it's harder to miss. Also, thanks for the case-sentive hint for the security code. I've changed that screen too to make it clearer (i hope).

Again, thanks for your suggestions...hope you enjoy the site.
