thanks for the comments Uber. John Kolbow runs a great facility, and we had many hard working Maumee Thunder Parents/players out there this weekend. Big thanks also to Coach Jaworski who previewed the new All Sport Zero, that is some good stuff! thanks to Team sports for setting up also and donating a bat for raffle. Great to see everyone out at the park!

I second Uber! I loved haging out watching softball. Watching kids my DD has played softball with in travel and hanging out with their parents. It is a great family that we have through the wonderful game of softball.

Thank you,

Any other details on who played well ind./ teamwise?

I will say its hard to tell how teams are looking, some coaches are really good about getting everybody significant innings, which generally means people are out of position and the batting line-up isnt quite set.

I forgot to mention I thought Southview looked pretty good, their pitching is going to be good IMO, I liked all three pitchers they threw and I thought the Frosh pitcher for them looks like she is going to be good.

Sounds like things went well Jim. Congrats on the success of the event, I can only imagine all the work it takes to pull that off.

I need to jump in at this point. This event was NOT a preview, thus the reason we couldn't charge admission. OHSAA sports reg. #18 defines a scrimmage as a contest against any number of schools that is no longer then 3 hours in duration. THUS all of our saturday contests were limited to 1:20 against 2 teams, so this was counted as ONE scrimmage. So if a team did the same thing the prior weekend, even though they played against 6 teams, as long as it worked out to FOUR events of no longer then 3 hours each, that is perfectly legal. This was also confirmed for the second time by myself with OHSAA commissioner this morning. thanks.
