Can you tell me when tournaments in Ohio usually send schedules to the teams for a weekend tournament? It is common in Florida for schedules to come out very late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning for a weekend tournament. Many of these events actually start play on Friday nights. When I was there (in Ohio) - 7 years ago mind you - we always had our schedules the weekend before we played. The only time that happens here is when we play in a big time showcase and travel is involved.

Usually the weekend before but, can be as late as Wed if they take some late entries. I really try to have it out the weekend before but sometimes goes into Monday. But if full you can get out weeks in advance. The longer you have to wait to fill it up the less time you have to get it out.

For my tournament I send the schedule out 3 weeks in advance.

Last year I got the Maple Leaf FINAL schedule out almost 3 weeks before it. The Cinderella was about a week before due to teams dropping and adding at the last minute.

It all depends on how soon we get the registrations and special requests.

Ususally a couple days before the tournament starts.

We received ours anywhere from a month to a couple days before the first day.

most common in my experience is the Wednesday before. Sometimes Monday or Tuesday but rarely. For the very large tournaments and ones that get booked very early, 1 week. Never seen one any early than 1 week before in five years.

Last year we had all our schedules at least 1 - 2 weeks in advance. Usually two weeks or more.
