Anybody that knows me knows that if I am anywhere around a softball tournament the rain follows me. I have rained out or rain delayed many of tournaments.
Tonight I go for a walk on the lake erie beaches with the wife and two boys. No clouds anywhere while on our walk. We head in toward the campsites to stop by the campstore to let the boys hit the bathroom.
A small system rolls in and a tornado forms above us. It didnt touch the ground but you could see the rotation and the tail move back and forth. Then after about 3 minutes it disappeared and fell apart.
Many campers and two rangers were out with us watching this above us. Strange that on a beautiful night and NO storms anywhere, this happens. It did get a tad windy and rained for about 1 minute after it fell apart.
Here is a pic of it.....................
