a pitch that was meant to be outside but ends up a meatball down the middle for a shot to the gap
baseball umps at the fastpitch field
5 dollar burgers at the ballpark
Porta johns filled to the rim and steaming

i dunno, i kind of like the walking tacos either way!
one thing to dislike are cleats that make your DD's feet smell like small skunks hiding under the driver's seat.....

- softball belts that barely fit the loops in softball pants (and taking them out of the pants when having to wash them).
- random softballs and water bottles rolling in the car every hard turn you make
- girls who act catty or rude to other girls
- parents who act catty or rude to other parents
- always being on the losing side of close calls
- buying 100 pairs of softball socks but never being able to find a pair the day of the game

I am so sick of this. Let your kid's play speak for itself. My kid is on the same team, I don't need to hear how your kid got asked to join this more elite team or do that elite showcase etc. etc. When your kid goes 1/10 for the day or has errors you just look like a jerk. I know your kid is good - but she isn't the only one - so just shut up and enjoy watching her and the rest of the team play.
