West won 2-0. Bodecker threw a no-hitter and was one error away from a perfect game.

Fairfield and Lakota West are playing in their regional finals this Sat. Could two teams from the GMC make it to the state championships? At the end of the year were these teams ranked in the state? No. The GMC is a tough conference. With Mason possible coming into the league. Every year it will be a tough battle for the GMC championship. Good luck Fairfield and Lakota West. Hope you meet in the finals at state.

What a great idea... :)

Actually it looks like both will be favored to win their Regionals at this point... ...I probably shouldn't have said that? Not out of the relm of possibility.

Lets not forget Harrison here! The beat the # 2 ranked team in the state ( Greenville ) and the # 6 ranked team in the city ( Loveland ) !!!!! They play Fairfield on Sat. This will be a very good game with the winner, in my opinion, advancing another game or two......

Cincychil -you're right Harrison is a good team. Now this is not a slam on Greenville but if they played in the GMC, they wouldn't be undefeated or #2 . Besides the rankings are just opinions like this post and not worth much.

Good Luck to all, should be a good day for softball.

Bob Denham is right. It's about time teams south of Dayton start getting the credit they deserve. Teams in the GMC play tough teams day in and day out, not just tournament time. Wouldn't two Cincinnati teams in the finals be great?!

Good luck to Lakota West and Harrison. Both teams deserve to be where they are today.
