Anyone hosting a Event that going to give paid berths, Tune Up, Other type of event aim toward sending teams to the "2009 Rec-League & Youth League World Series"

Please post your event in this tread. This will help me aim Teams your way that are from your area.


We already showing a good Turn out of Youth Programs that are planning to attend. Since teams Names are by City, Town or County. Below is a List of City, Town or County that have made a early commitment to attend.

Tournaments are being hosted with paid Berth in OH,ILL,IN,MO,KY,VA,MD,TX,OK,CA,NV,AZ,LA,TN with "IFA - Independent Fastpitch Association"



Any Youth League or Rec-League Program can attend you don't need to play in any tournament to attend the World Series event. R.L.Y.L - World Series events is a stand alone event.

We will host 4 - Different Tournaments within the World Series.

All Teams play in all events.

We are working out all the Final Details and Information Packets and other details will be release soon.

I'm not saying that we will turn down any teams, But my Goal for 2009 World Series is 150 Teams. And to have at least 15 Different States send Rec-Youth League Program to the 2009 Rec-Youth League World Series.

We already have 7 Different States with early commitments so I think that getting 15 would be a Goal that can be achieve in 2009.

Ricky: I passed on info to a team from Iowa, Missouri and Minnesota to contact you as they e-mailed me. Mary Ann in Oklahoma said there was some rec teams down there that are looking into coming up for the event. They are having paid berth tournaments there this spring and summer as well.

P>S> Missouri guy out of Columbia is having three rec events with paid berths as well.

IFA is working together to fill that Rec event with the maximum amount of teams.

The Breakers are hosting an IFA Rec "C" Tournament on the May 15 -17, 2009 weekend. Tournament will be held in North Ridgeville, OH and run as follows:

Sanction - IFA (New Lower Sanction Fee $10)
Ages - 10u, 12u, & 14u
Format - 4gg* (3 pool, single elimination)
Cost - $375
Awards - Team & Individual for 1st & 2nd in each age group. Paid berth to RLYL World Series for 1st
Concessions: Full concession stand (no restriction on coolers)
