reporting violations?

OP, what a terrible situation to endure for only trying to do the right thing! This may be a lesson for those who have vindictive people in their school system that before you take the deep plunge and report violations you should check how deep your wallet is first as you may need an attorney to put the squeeze on the kahunas of those who would retaliate against your child.

Thanks Hockey Buckeye, luckly my son chose to continue to work hard and not give up. There were two other kids that it affected (their parents were also involved with me) and they ended up giving up baseball.

This went pretty deep in our HS. They built a new stadium a few years ago and some of the parents donated thousands of dollars, their personal time and some of them were in the excavating business and other types of business that could donate resources and manpower. Their kids were safe and made the team . Other kids whose parents didn't have the money or resources to donate , well their kids were also cut.

The one group that can not be fooled in this whole mess is the kids. They know what is going on. They know that one kid is a better player than the other and when the better player doesn't make the team - they talk- they know the score .

HS sports and politics - it is unfortunate but a reality
