roster question ?

I have a team with all 11 year olds . If i add a 12 year old to my roster but she doesnt play when we enter an 11u tourny is this ok ? I want to add her for those 12u tournys that we enter , shes a catcher and i think this will help us compete . Im just trying to make sure its ok for her to be on the roster as long as she doesnt play in those 11u tournys , please give me any help you may have .

She can be on your ASA and NSA roster all season, and can play any time you feel fit. As long as its not an 11u qualifier she can play. And seeing how both major groups ASA and NSA don't recognize the odd years you should never have to worry in one of there events. If it's USSSA 11u qualifier then she can't play. USSSA is the only other major group that will recognize odd years. Or the TD calls it "an all 11u tourney" which will be rare. Good Luck!!!

Thanks. i just wanted to make sure just having her on roster wouldnt keep TD's from letting us enetr those 11u tournys . We know she cant play in them . Thanks again !

Thats a good one ! This kid is really torn , as she quit another team and doesnt want to join another team due to not wanting to make her former team mad . Good kid ! I seriously might mention your team , i think she should play somewhere . The team she quit is from the same town as my team , so she doesnt want the negative attention that might come of this . I think shes alittle burnt out and needs a change of scenary .
