I saw this reply from a post awhile back.
We were able to steal any base and advance to second on a walk in just about every 10U tournament we played in last year...maybe every tournament. The comment I have a question on is "....advance on uncaught third strike." What does this mean? Is this refering to advancing to 1st on a dropped third strike? Are the 10's going to be given the green light on everything this year. Is this only ASA? Has NSA and USSSA followed suit. Looks like I'll have to do some detective work. :-?

The ASA baserunning rules for 10U have been modified in 2007. The old restrictions that were in place now apply only to class "B" (recreational level). All 10U restrictions for class "A" (junior olympic/travel teams) have been removed.
10U "A" teams may now steal any base, advance on uncaught third strikes, continue past first on walk and all the other fun stuff that the older girls can do.
I can see this being a source of some confusion this year, especially if the coaches are not aware of the rule changes. But you'll be prepared because you read it here on the OFC!
