ASA Rules Changes for 2010

I turned away a Very solid college pitcher last year at tryouts because I was told that this rule was going into effect Last year, but turns out she could have played with us last year. Could have really helped to solidify our pitching staff.

Why doesnt ASA have their "Convention" in early to mid August so teams can adjust to the rule changes more easily.

If they were talking about this rule last year why wasn't it made public? It sure would of gone down better if they would of given us advance notice of it. Would of made a big difference at try outs this year.
