Am I missing something- granted I've never really paid attention this this as I havent had a daughter in HS. I look at the other brackets around the state D-2 Central D-1 Central - they both seem correct - like I said Im' new to the OHSSA brackets but not to tournament brackets at all. These two have the highest seeded teams - #1 # 2 and so forth with byes in the first round and or at least playing in what seem a logical senario. # 1 playing #22 # 4 playing winner of #12 or #19 .

but when I look at the D-1 Cincinnati bracket looks good at first glance #2 plays winer of #17 or #21 but then you go to the next set of games and they have #13 with a bye waiting the winner of the #7 vs #23 - # 7 record is 12-7 and #13 record is 7-13 total opposite - why does #13 have the bye and why does #7 have to play in the first round. It is the same way with the bottom bracket they have #1 Mason playing winner of #14 vs #20 seems right but then in the second set they have #12 Ursuline waiting the winner of the #10 vs #15 game- Loveland is 15-8 and Ursuline is 9-7 can anyone set me straight? I thought the idea was to win the most games so you get a higher seed so you get the byes and can wait the winner of the two teams with less wins than you.

it might look confusing because the odd schools you are looking at are st. ursula #7 - in the catholic league that is the same as #15 in the gwoc, favc or gmc leagues - we have 4 leagues going into one bracket - the northern has less league breakouts - we have 50 schools- if you look carefully you see two #1's - Mason and Lebanon are both #1, so instead of 1 thru 50 - southwest has two sets of 1 thru 25 mixing the catholic league stats into both columns - which is not an easy task.
