Slow pitch bats?

Are slow pitch bats legal to use in Fastpitch? Pure Sport Tech is a USSSA licensed company and the bat in question is the Pure Sport Integrity, which is advertised as a slow pitch bat but can be bought with the exact same specs as the bat my daughter already swings. What are the pro's and con's of using a slow pitch bat in fastpitch?

You can use a slow pitch bat in fast pitch.
Most slow pitch bats are heaver than your fast pitch bats 25 to 30 oz. How the weight is distributed also is different with end lod, mid load, Max load or ballanced.

My DD swung Miken products and went to the mens bats at 15 with a 34-26oz Freak plus. She swung that bat all through college.
One thing to keep in mind is the ball has changed and a lot of tournaments are using 52core 275comp.
The high flex bats (multi piece) do not strike these balls as well as the single piece ballanced less flex bats. If the events you are playing in are using 47/400 both bat designs work well.
