[Softball] Bryan Has Quiet Day at Martin Methodist

PULASKI, Tenn. – In the middle of their Spring Break, the Bryan College softball team made the short trip to Martin Methodist College on Wednesday evening for a non-conference doubleheader, but the Lions struggled to keep the RedHawks from taking flight. Bryan was outhit 13-6 by Martin Methodist in game one, pushing across only one run in the 8-1 loss before coming up short 10-2 in the hit's column in the second contest and repeating with a lone score in the 9-1 defeat. The Lions fell to 5-13 overall while the RedHawks soared ahead for their third and fourth wins in a row, improving to 10-7. Martin Methodist has grown in confidence this season after taking down previously 12th-ranked Freed-Hardeman University (Tenn.) and entered the twinbill versus Bryan coming off a 2-1 series win over then 19th-ranked Faulkner University (Ala.).
