Marymount California, the recently crowned California Pacific Conference regular season champion, received some votes in the latest NAIA Coaches' poll, but conference coaches flooded the Mariners with votes in the Cal Pac postseason awards. MCU landed five on the 15-player First Team roster, and took home four of the five individual honors bestowed by the conference. Mariner infielder Johnie Cortez was named the Player of the Year, freshman hurler DeAndria Lockett was the tabbed the top pitcher, Taylor Roberts was voted the Newcomer of the Year, and Shane Schumaker was selected by his peers as the Coach of the Year. Embry-Riddle's Mikaeli Davidson was voted the Freshman of the Year, the only non-Mariner to garner an individual award.
