OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference bestowed its softball player of the week nods on Jaci Smith from Oklahoma City University and Emily Cerny of Science & Arts of Oklahoma for the third consecutive week.
Smith, a senior catcher from Godley, Texas, took SAC player of the week for the fifth time this season and seventh time in her career, while Cerny, a sophomore from Newcastle, Okla., collected SAC pitcher of the week for the fifth week in a row and seventh time during her college career.
