COSTA MESA, Calif. - The ninth-ranked Lions (13-3, 6-1) hosted Pomona-Pitzer (2-3) on Sunday afternoon and came out with two wins 6-0 and 8-0. The first game was successful for the Lions because of their ability to capitalize on their scoring opportunities. The second victory came by strong pitching and offensive domination that ended the game early after enforcing the mercy rule.
