Olivia McClintock stole home in the bottom of the seventh inning for a 4-3 win to help St. Ambrose complete a sweep of Saint Mary Friday afternoon in the Ambrose Dome.

The Bees won the opener 4-2.

In Game 2, McClintock started the seventh with an infield single and then stole second. After Libby Munsterman's bunt moved her to third, Madelyn Thompson was intentionally walked. McClintock then stole home for the game winner.

That run capped a comeback that saw the Bees down 3-0 after the top of the first inning. Morgan Krieger got one run back in the bottom of the first inning with a sacrifice fly to plate McClintock. In the third, Krieger's bunt single scored Munterman, who started the frame with a triple to right. McClintock, who finished 3-for-4, tied the game in the fourth with an RBI single to right, leading to her heroics in the seventh.

Christina Pembrook earned the win after pitching five hitless innings in relief of Sarah Willman. Pembrook struck out three.

In the opener, Jane Thomas worked six innings, allowing seven hits and one earned run to get the victory.

Thompson was the offensive star, going 3-for-3 with three RBIs for the Bees.

Thompson staked Thomas to an early lead, driving in one run with her first-inning single and later ripping a two-run home run to left in the third inning.

After Saint Mary pulled to within 3-2 in the fifth, Karley Kopaska drove in an insurance run with a sacrifice fly that scored Colleen Barrett, who had a one-out triple to right center.

Willman entered in the seventh inning with a runner on second and no outs, but escaped the jam unscathed to pick up the save.
