All of the schools in our area do it the same way ... if Varsity is playing someone at home, JV is usually playing that same school away, and vice versa. This also makes it a little tough on parents who have one on each team. With the focus on costs these days, you would think more schools might look at doing the games back to back to save on transportation costs. I know they do it that way down in Kentucky too, though JV only plays 5 inning games probably to make sure the games get in before dark.
