Some different high school roster questions

All of the schools in our area do it the same way ... if Varsity is playing someone at home, JV is usually playing that same school away, and vice versa. This also makes it a little tough on parents who have one on each team. With the focus on costs these days, you would think more schools might look at doing the games back to back to save on transportation costs. I know they do it that way down in Kentucky too, though JV only plays 5 inning games probably to make sure the games get in before dark.

I would love to see the Varsity and JV play back to back. However, at least in our area, baseball is also involved and I don't think they could play 2 games before dark.

We're in PA, and we don't play that kind of schedule, at least not for section games. Our JV usually plays the same school, but away on the same day Varsity plays them at home. But we're in AAAA - maybe each section comes to an agreement on how they schedule, and the smaller schools may need to cross-populate more than the large schools.

Could be our section because we did it same way in AAAA.
