I wanted to be the first to post this one and have some. Please, no bashing or hurt feelings from players, because anything can happen. If you are a player on a team not mentioned, use it as motivation and slam me all you want after the tournament - I'm here to be beat on! I will list my top four.

I believe it is the younger Xpress team (Maybe Blue?). I'm not sure of what color they are--I just know the 14s are Red. Can someone confirm the 13s are the team that are coming to Sparta?

In the 16u, I have to go with Pittsburg Power - Becker. they were a strong 14 last year, and will be stronger this year. I believe they may be a step ahead of the Laser Green, so they will top the field. I am not as familar with the others, but the assume this is the Nightmare 14u, so I will pick them third in a close one over Gahanna. I'm drawing a blank on the Starzz (I've been known to be fickel and change on a sure thing), so if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated.

In the 14u, I will spin the wheel and go against my gut for potential. Last week I predicted the Laser Orange would start to mature, and they did big time. I feel the combination of use to playing in close games and getting in the groove with each other helped them. But I think the Buckeye Heat Allen come through this week, if not in pool play, in elimination. I will call it law of averages, but the Allen team will not have that tough of time in other games so they can focus on the Orange. After that, I see a Heart of Ohio brawl between the Force and the Prowl. The Prowl is a strong team and will probably prevail, but the Force get closer. And if the Prowl is on, I can see them knocking off either the Orange or Heat-Allen in pool play, but not in elimination.

Looked as if the 14u division was one sided with the Lasers Orange until they were beaten by the Force. All other teams looked even. Congratulations to the Miami Valley Express for a solid tournament win.

As for the 16u, a great run by the GCKA Nightmare 14u team, losing only to the Laser Green. The Nightmare had two great games with a very good Pitt Power, beating them twice in the same day. Great tournament for them moving up a division. An even better job by the Green going 9-1 on the weekend up at 16u and beating the Nightmare twice, and in the finals! With the results of both divisions, now people can see why those two teams played up and made the right decsion in doing so (the GFOD Thunder and Big Starrz are two very solid 16u teams), as they are both much better than the ohter 14u teams competing in Sparta.

It also looks as if there is much seperation state wide in 14u between Laser Green and all other 14u teams.
