I am also looking to do a 6 game guaranteed tournament in the fall. ?Any suggestions on what age divisions and which weekend.

Tom,
I was very happy with the tourney and would highly recommend it to anyone.

My only recommendation would to be add temporary fences. ?I understand the finances at Highland park, but fences would be the showstopper to an already great tourney. With the addition of fences, there would be more than enough room for a warmup area.

Lady Knight brings up a great point about the temp fence's, not only for the actual dimensions for girls Fastpitch, but more importantly for the much needed warm up area's that were lacking...JMHO.

200' foot fencing was suppose to be in place for the tournament. The same thing happened last year. I have already discussed some of my concerns about this year with the Park President.

Would have been nice if black 'stoppers' were removed from pitching areas before tourney started. I know you need to preserve the pitching distance that these are used for, but it was truly a hazard and at times a distraction for those girls who were coming close to stepping on it with each pitch. Otherwise a solid tournament.
