The Big Show - ASA Nationals

What Ohio teams are playing ASA Nationals this week? I talked to some Lil' Slammers parents this week and I know they are going in the 12u division. I was wondering what other Ohio teams are trying "The Big Show." With 12u and 18u so close I would imagine more teams than usual attempted to qualify. Good luck in advance to all those who are representing Ohio!

At 16-U, the Buckeye Heat (Abraham) and Ohio Ice (Poole) are going. I think that's it from Ohio at 16-U.

I know at 18-U the Cincy Elite Blue, Grand Slam and the Stingrays are going. There may be others at 18-U, I'm not sure.

12u Lasers Orange will be in Bloomington as well.

I know this is out of the area of interest for most here, but I'll start off the ASA Nationals reports with a first pool game for the Pittsburgh Patriots 18U. They beat the South Valley Blitz from California 3-0 today.

Anything to get my mind off NSAs :-/

Partial 18U Pool Info:

Grand Slam (OH) won their 1st pool game (beat Broken Arrow Storm (OK))

Cincinnati Elite-Blue also won, Beating Missouri WarCats 6-0

Haven't heard about the other OH teams yet... I know the Stingrays were scheduled to play 6 pm (Central time). Any news on them or other OH teams?

The Ohio Bandits won their first game 5 - 4 vs Fusion Fastpitch (TX).

Ohio ICE lost a great game to the Chattanooga Eagles
1-0 in the bottom of the 7th inning with 2 outs... great pitching and defense by entire team....kudo's to an awesome Eagle pitcher she was great! First time DD ever made it to the BIG SHOW and it is definately worth all the hard work this team has done to get here. Good luck to all the Ohio teams.
