Things we do for our DD's

This might have been allready posted but after a long day at work after driving 7 hours round trip for a 1hr hitting lesson with Crystal Bustos. I was wondering what other things people have done for there DD's. My wife and co workers say im crazy.
PS doing it again in 2 weeks

I'll be doing the same thing in about a couple of weeks for hitting, but it won't be with Bustos.

4 years ago, my oldest made it to the Little League State round for 11/12 and winner went to Missouri for regionals, my youngest at the time was 9 and made it to the Little League districts for 9/10. That week, I traveled just about everyday from Avon to Portsmouth to either Elyria or Tallmadge and back. Out of the total 10 games they had combined, I missed one. Typical road trip was about 9 hours and 500 miles. When I spent the nights at my sisters in Nelsonville, it added another near two hours and 40 miles. Oldest ended up runner-up in the state.

Now youngest plays for a team two hours away, and it's been fantastic. Oldest is now going to play for local select team.

I was there. My daughter Taylor was the one that had the lesson after yours. Nice to meet you. The first time I met Crystl it was in PA. We drove 4 and 1/2 hrs for a clinic. It was well worth it. She is great at teaching hitting. She is only 1hr away from us now! I was so excited when she moved. We have driven over 3 1/2 hrs about 5 times in the last yr.

I don't think there is much any of us won't do for our dd's. Travel ball in itself is a testament to that....it's a crazy, hectic life. Either that or we are all nuts.

Yeah we are all nuts!!!! Driving that far to get a hitting lesson with Crystl Bustos is worth it though! I learned a ton from a few lessons that my daughter had with her!!
