Thanks Jeff for the nice compliment. Your right, there's not a softball player or coach out there that I wouldn't help if they ask me, even if it might come back to haunt me some day in a championship game! Dave, thanks for the info, can't wait to coach in your facility.

I know Lee. Wish I had a dozen parents like you, Now send a pitcher my way that wants to lead the team along with my daughter. I have a couple of great catchers. LOL. I to am looking so forward to Thundrplex. Getting tired of sitting and practicing in doors in a gym. Putting back wrestler mats and mopping is getting really old. I live in a small town where we share facilities with other school programs. hey, we love our kids!!

I would think Attack will be the team to beat in the 16u. ?Ice, Stingrays and Power teams all always good .

Hey Dave,

Any time frame for the 14u brackets? Don't mean to rush you, just curious.

Working on the 14u as we speak. I want them up tonight.

As to who to watch in the 16u, don't leave out my Thunder Elite 16u. They just knocked off my 18u (twice) to win the league championship :-[. The first time was a 9 inning 1-0 game. The won the championship game by a little more.

Of course, we like to think that if it was outside... ::)

If you are interested in 14U, I will be traveling to Indianapolis (Sportszone) for my middle 2 DD's tourney next weekend and can share a report on how the teams look out west...lol. :)

no typo. ?actually, the last sat night loser's bracket game starts at 12:30am. ?And that's with starting on Fri Night.

20 teams, 2 fields, 3 game double elim format.

good news is that they get to sleep in.

The 14u bracket is posted on our website:
http://www.thunderplexsports.com

In advance - it came down to late night friday games, or early saturday and sunday. Since Tim starts very early in his leagues and tournaments at GFOD, and teams dont seem to mind, we thought it a better solution. The good news is, that if you have the late night start on Saturday, you dont play until late Sunday morning and the only teams playing real late on Saturday night have already lost their first 2 games.

On a VERY POSITIVE note: with the 17th team, there are now 3 East Zone berths available, plus the North Zone and Canadian berths. This means that the teams based in the North zone and Canada do not appy towards the 3 east zone berths.

Feel free to call with questions.

For the 12U age group, I have the Canadian team 1st game. Brampton Blazers. We (Classics) are trying to put together small gift bags for them. Just in case their coach is watching this post. Nothing big, just some items from the girls from my team in friendship. We will hand them out after the game or when appropriate.

Thanks
