In the winners bracket it is Ohio Classics-Purple and Ohio Ice

The losers bracket shows Ohio Classics-Black and Ohio Attack remaining. Ohio Classics-Black lost their first game to Ohio Ice but battled back in the losers bracket.

The Ohio Ice Black would be the team that your talking about and they took second at the GFOD tourney this weekend losing in the finals to the Indy Dreams 4-0. I believe Gabby got hit with the tough loss, she pitched a very nice game, but they got her timed up in the 6th to put 3 on the board.

The umpires were thrown off of the couches this past weekend. ;D

We also kept them to 3 games so they didnt have time to grow roots.

What happened to the Pittsburgh Power? I thought that they were expected to be in the finals at the tournament? Anyone know what happened?

Both Power teams played very well. Power - Lowery started off the day with a 11 inning game against Classics - Purple which (besides putting my day 40 minutes behind from the beginning) took a lot out of them. That was a game that neither team lost - one just had a higher score.

Jeff Frye's team got sent home by the Posse from Cory, PA. They lost their first game to the Stingrays.

There were a bunch of good teams in the field. That leads to "on any given day"

The Classics-Purple must be pretty good then! Hopefully we will see them this summer! It appears to me that the Ohio Classics just outlasted the Pittsburgh Power in what appears to be one of the highlights of the weekend. Good Luck to both teams this summer and I hope we get to play them!!
