That is why most pitchers when they get to a certain age group only pitch. risk of injury. I would be surprised if billy lets her hit the rest of the year.

She batted 4th Friday night and she has a big stick. I'd be very surprised if she doesn't hit the rest of the season.

^She may have a big stick, but from what we read about the Slammers all the time, they have about 9 other big sticks. There are at least 3 others that are more legit #4 hitters on that team than her.

I am just saying, with all those hitters, why take the chance of an injury to your best pitcher before the big show.

I am sure this is on Bill's mind. He may not say it to the parents, but any coach with the goals that Bill has would think the same thing.
