Top Ohio 12u Teams

Hard to argue with the lists of teams, although the order can vary month to month as players and teams get on a roll. We beat some teams earlier in the year that seem to be different teams now, a credit to them.

Looking ahead to next year, who are the top all 11u teams (or predominatly 11u) this year, other than Lil Slammers & Laser Silver? Trying to figure out who else will make some noise next year also? Assuming they stay together, who else brings back basically intact teams to 12u competition?

I mostly agree with everyones top but it seems everyone doesnt think the lazers silver is a strong team. I think they have there down falls but they are very strong and have a great 3rd baseman!!! No one can take them down because I've seen them play and i like what i see! they are deff. going to be the team to beat in 2007~

Going back to the comment about teams that come from one community..... Our Ohio Magic Black team does such a great job. These girls go to school together, live in the same neighborhoods, and hang out together. They are not just part of a team ... they are friends! They have come such a long way with great coaches and great attitudes... they deserve the success they've had this year we couldn't be any prouder. Go Magic!!!

;D I'd have to throw the heart of Ohio Force in that mix too. Very solid team with tough pitching, and smart kids overall.

Of the teams I've seen, I'd have to go:

1. Lasers Orange
2. Lil Slammers
3. Miami Valley Express
4. Ohio Ice
5 ?Chain Reaction
6. Stingrays 12's
7. HOH Force
8. Lasers Silver

No doubt in my mind that Lasers Orange are tops in Ohio at 12U. ?Especially after their run at ASA Nationals (congrats!!). ?(No disrespect to Doom, Heat, Irish and Magic) but I have not seen them play.

Hate to toot our own horn but the Ohio Wave 12U was pretty good this year as well. Of most of the teams listed I think they only played two of them.

They split with the Miami Valley Xpress and lost a close game to the Lasers Silver.

The team was half first year and half second year players with the two main pitchers both being 11 years old. No 12 year old pitched for the team this season. The returning players will be together for the 4th year next season and they will be a handful for most teams.

They finished the season 41 -13 with a state title and two other championships and a good showing at the world series.

Just thought I would throw that out there, because they were a fun hard working bunch.

Central Park Crushers are pretty good. They can hit the ball. Especially their lead off lefty #22. We had the chance to play them 3 times in one day at the Jamboree. No disrespect to them, we have played alot of the top 10 teams numerous times this season and the top 10 are very good.
