Hey chaos,

Knowing you guys, you are probably disappointed with that finish? ... Don't be!! Great job, shows #5 two years ago was no fluke. Clearly established as a perennial contender. No sneaking up on anybody this time. Great job!

I wish we could have represented Ohio better than we did. The girls play was uncharacteristic of how they played all year. However it was a good experience for everyone overall. We were able to see some great teams. It was good to finally watch a few games of the infamous Ohio Slammers. If you ever receive a bid to go it is well worth the experience. Some of the teams have the biggest 15yr olds I have ever seen. The speed is unbelievable too. As a team and organization I think we are on the right track to bring the level of play up for our girls. Congratulations to the other Ohio teams on great finishes!..................From Wizards Elite

Great job Slammer girls! Sorry I could not make it to the Nationals in Marietta, GA. I was in Vegas watching another Ohioan have a great tournament at the USA/ASA 18u, and hope to see her get out of Cleveland. My predecessors I had asked to watch you there told me you guys played very well and achieved some great stats for me. Nice job!

I am now also hearing you guys may be having some coaching issues. My contacts at Nationals tell me the dad's were coaching you guys...is that true? Well I hope you guys stay together and everything works out well for your team. I know that some of the coaches and myself were talking about how Ohio can not afford to loose this group of girls. I'm sorry and I don't mean to hurt any ones feelings in Ohio but your team is the only one we are hearing anything about out west here as far as our Athletic Departments are telling us. So stay together as best you can and we will keep an eye on ya. Lots of Luck Slammer girls!!! Excited for your 2010 season.

Thanks to everyone giving shout outs to Doom95.

Thought I would give 44444 some additional information to share with his West Coast Colleagues for next year.

Doom95 had three losses, all by one run only. Coupled with three victories, this showing could really have easily been a 4-2 or 5-2 showing.

EXTREMELY happy with the 3-2 results, but this team was in every game, every inning with every team. Our biggest loss(San Jose Sting 4-0(with 2 earned runs), had the Sting walking away gasping, knowing they just squeaked out a critical win, as Doom95 Catcher hits 2 bombs to within feet of fence with 20mph wind blowing in. Nobody drilled the ball that deep anywhere that day. Doom95 showed some serious pitching, power but untimely against brutal wind with a couple errors. San Jose Sting, weren't quite expecting a pitch to pitch battle via a 4 seed as their parents nervously fidgitted inning to inning. They kept asking, "Where is your team from?" That was by far the funnest game for me.)

Great Job to all Ohio Teams(Coaches, Girls, and Parents). It was great to see everyone playing hard, COMPETING, and having fun.
