Congratulations to the Valley Extreme 14U Blue team for winning the Championship today at the 5th Annual June V.E. NSA NQ. They defeated Pittsburgh Power. I believe this team has only one loss this spring.

Congratulations also goes out to the Valley Extreme 12U Red team for winning their championship game over the Tidal Waves by a score of 3 to 1. This was a very well played game by both teams. This is the 6th tournament championship for the 12U Red. They were also runners-up in another tournament.

I do not know which teams won the 16U and 18U championship games.

Again, a stellar performance by the Valley Extreme organization for putting on a very good tournament.

A big thank you to Greg Bensing, Bruce Weitzel and the rest of the Valley Extreme organization for putting on a very nice tournament. They especially did a good job recovering from the Friday night rain and managed to get all the games made up on Saturday.

Our team (Sunraze 16U-Black) won the 16u age bracket amidst some very good competition. On Sunday we had to beat the Valley Extreme-Red (1-0), the Wildcats(3-0), The Sapphires(6-1), and the Tigerlillies(6-2) to win it. All of those teams were very solid and well coached.

I believe the Pitt Spirit won the 18u over Go North Coast.

Thanks again!!

Just want to say a great game to Tidal Wave (12U) team and also want to know if your pitcher is okay? She sledded into homeplate and hurt her leg.

Thanks for the kind words. It was a great game between 2 very solid teams. Valley Extreme is very, very good. The pitcher has a deep bruise on her shin. She is day to day. Very proud of my teams effort this past weekend.

To the 12U Tidal Waves,
Glad to hear that your pitcher is going to be all right. Two intense games that went to the wire this past weekend between Tidal Waves and the 12U Valley Extreme Red. Both teams are very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck to Tidal Waves this week at the Chain Reaction tournament.
12U Valley Extreme Red will be at Compuware this week. That should be an indicator as to how much we are improving.
