The Valley Extreme Softball Organization will be sponsoring a 2008 FALL NSA National Qualifier Tournament on 9/29 & 9/30

? 4 Game Minimum (weather permitting)
? Cost $325 per team
? NSA National Qualifier Tournament
? Maximum 30 teams
? Age Groups ? 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, & 18U
? NSA Rules, balls, and umpires (two per game)
? $3.00 ?individual? admission fee per person ? infants/pre-school are free (manager & team players are free)
? Must be NSA sanctioned for 2008 and be able to show proof of accidental & liability insurance at check in
? Pool play on 9/29
? Single Elimination tournament on 9/30
? Team and individual trophies for 1st and 2nd place in each age group

Yes, all games will be played at our four field complex at Candlelight Knolls.

Candle Lights Knolls is a very nice complex. If anybody is into camping, go to Mosquito Lake State Park. It is only 5 minutes from the ball fields.

For those managers that have requested us to hold them a spot, and that the check is in the mail.....

We will only hold spots until 9/14, and then teams on the waiting list will be accepted. ? ?All age group entries will be considered until we have 32 teams that have either paid or sent a deposit.

We will be contacting each unpaid team this week via e-mail or phone to confirm their team's attendance in our Fall NSA 2008 National Qualifier. ? ? We will need confirmation, entry form, and a minimum of a $100 deposit to hold your team's spot by 9/14.

18U Managers:

We will be looking into playing only two early pool games on Saturday and finishing up with the 3rd pool game around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. The Staurday games will most likely be 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. back-to-back games.

The single elimination tournament will begin around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Hopefully this helps out with "homecoming" concerns.

They are pretty much done now, just need to go over it one more time. Pool play schedules will be e-mailed out on Monday morning to all managers and posted on our web site at as well.
