W.W.A.S.T. "Lady Warrior" still need 10u eligible players for a fund raising tournament for The WWAS

The Gplex, in Garrettsville Ohio, is running a fund raiser 10U tournament benefitting WWAST: http://gfp.tournamentasa.com/i!/tour...s.php?TID=9846

We are looking for 10u eligible players to field a team. Please pass this on to any families that may be interested along with the links to our information below.

The only cost for this would be to purchase a jersey here: https://www.cagear.com/store/custom-name-number/wwast-traditional-camo-jersey/ Any cash donations would be welcome, but not required.

The G-plex is donated a percentage of the weekend to The WWAST http://woundedwarrioramputeesoftballteam.org/ that we represent by wearing their colors!

There have been over 50 players play for us the past two years for a good cause, be apart of something very positive and have alittle fun at the same time!

Need help from the softball community, still need a few more 10u players to play. Any help getting players for a fun "give back" weekend of softball for a great cause please PM email or call me asap. Need a lot more, any position, does not matter what level, position, etc.

Great job everyone at the G-Plex 10u Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team tournament! We lost in the first round, but still had a great weekend going 2-1. Great job to all the teams that showed up to play and support the charity causes!

"Hello,

After a successful weekend, I would like to thank all coaches, players, families, and umpires for making the weekend a great one!

The facility would like to thank Dave Orms and Bob Himmelein for donating their time umping this weekend as a donation towards WWAST, as well as Tom VanKirk for giving us this opportunity.

I want to also thank everyone that donated to the canned food drive, Nelson-Garrettsville Community Cupboard, and the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. We ended up raising $808 for the WWAST and the facility will also be donating $1,000. We were also able to donate $495 to the Delta Co 1-145th Family Readiness Group. This would not have been possible without the teams, players, families, coaches, and umpires. I have attached the bracket to show you the results of the tournament. Please keep an eye out for our tournaments next year. We will be working with Tom VanKirk, head coach of The WWAST Lady Warriors, to make a series of WWAST Tournaments next winter.

I would love any feedback on the tournament to improve future events and games.
