was there ever a final poll for last years (2012) 14u group ?

or would anyone like taking a guess ? like a top 5 or 10 in no particular order ... How did the best 14u teams fair at whichever national they attended ? The only team I follow at this age group , Buckeye elite placed second at Berliner in the Midwestern WS ( sorry If I have the name wrong ) but I dont think many top ohio teams played that event . MD

In ASA Eastern Nationals in Virginia last season, the only top 10 finishers from Ohio were Heart of Ohio Nitro who won the whole thing and Ohio XS who placed 7th.

Based on who we played & what I saw: Classics 97, Laser Orange, Buckeye Elite, Viper's Silver & Black, Buckeye Heat, Lasers Green, Laser's Grey, HOH Inferno & Nitro, Static 98, Buckeye Heat 98

Static 97 was'nt to bad either. Great kids and parents, only question mark is coaching, lol.

I saw just about every 13 & 14U team last year by attending Metro, Lasers, Stingrays, GAPSS & SD ASA's and here is my top 10 in Ohio (take it for what it's worth):

1. Buckeye Heat 97'
2. Static 97'
3. Nitro 98'
4. Classics 97'
5. Lasers Blue
6. Doom 97'
7. Vipers Silver 97'
8. Lasers Orange
9. Buckeye Elite 97'
10. Static 98'

I also wanted to mention some of the top teams I saw from the Midwest were:
1. Crowne Point Bulldogs
2. Indiana Magic Gold
3. Tennessee Ballhawks (southern team)
4. Michigan Bulldogs
5. Team Pennsylvania

Again, just my opinion - everyone has 1.

to add one from the Midwest...the Indiana Dream 97 team was very strong and was dominant most of the year. They romped on us in SD. Strongest we faced besides Team PA this past summer. Was glad to lose to Team PA by a score of 3-0 for they were stacked....hence the 5th place in South Dakota. Well deserving. Classic 98 should be up in that group as well. Nice team list!

Since this is a final poll for 2012, I'd add for Ohio, Chill Gold and Lasers Gray.

For the Midwest, I'd add Wasco Diamonds '97, Indiana Extreme, WV Wild 1s, Pittsburgh Spirit '98
