I actually think its proposterious to look at girls who are not even in high school yet. How about we let them grow and develop a little bt before we evaluate them. After all an allstar in the 8th grade may not even play when shes older and a kid who didnt play in middle school may become a future college star.

Easy Matt, These are incoming freshman now. This happens at all the schools (alums/fans talking about incoming classes for certain sports), it's fun to talk about and doesn't hurt anyone. Some of these girls will make an impact in their respective schools and some will struggle. It is all part of the process and it is interesting to talk about none the less.

Cortney Moore for Ohio Heat Fury 14u will be an impact player for her high school team. Solid pitcher and utility player. She works hard and it is starting to pay off. Very solid bat as well. Those who know her - love her and those who don't will know her soon.

8th graders?? I know 1 that might make a difference in the middle school standings. This little girl plays for ( Ankeney Middle School Beavercreek). She is a pitcher, pretty good hitter and all around good player. Her name is ( Elizabeth VanSant). She might put a damper in some of the teams that look to go undefeated :-? I have seen most all the players in the 8th grade and it looks to be a ( Pitchers Dual) this year. Good luck to all the girls this year, hope to see you on the field ;) I think the post should have read ( 9th graders coming up???) But I will leave my post just for the Varsity Teams for the following year ;D Sorry misread the post :(

Got to see her this weekend in Whitehall. She looked very good. I think she hit a Home run off of the MCB in the semi as well.

What about #75 for the Ohio Classics 14U? I've seen her catch and play 3rd. Really strong arm and hits very well too. Anyone seen her?

Isn't there something a little silly about parents (coaches) posting stuff about their own kids here. Its one thing if someone else gives them props but to self promote just does not seem right.

Erica Smith from Bloom-Carroll. Plays for Ohio Ice organization. Great catcher with an amazing arm. But her best asset is her strong and quick bat. Should have a big impact on Varsity next season.

Lauren Reitz, "Red" of Strongsville. Played with the Breakers Gold this summer. Utility player with an awesome bat. I could put her at any position besides pitcher and she is dominant. Best position 2nd base. Batting average 401 as of Nationals.

Gotta mention the 8th grade class at teays valley. 2 very good pitchers, Randi Taylor and Kristen Gill will complement and already well loaded arsenal of Alex Taylor and Kate May at the pitching spot. Lots of speed coming up also in Cammi Prantl. Hope the Vikings continue on the road to success...
